Can we help you?

Our eligibility criteria are as follows:

• No client will be refused assistance based upon race, color, sex, creed or religion.

• Eligible recipients must reside in Darlington County

• Clients will be asked to complete an application, and assistance will be granted or denied based on the information provided.

• Clients eligible for financial assistance through other entities, but who fail to seek such help, will be deemed ineligible unless extenuating circumstances exist.

• Failure to provide accurate information will result in denial or disqualification for assistance.

• HIM will not assist clients in more than one of the categories within a one-year time period. (Our criteria is subject to change without notice)
